Description:
Stephanie Pearl-McPhee (The Yarn Harlot) often talks about the fact that unlike many other knitted garments, almost everyone needs socks.
There are hundreds of colours and blends of fibers for sock yarns that it makes knitting socks exciting and fun.
In this class you will learn to knit a basic cuff-down pair of socks. You will experience the “magic” of turning a heel and the joy of a perfectly shaped toe.
Once you wear a pair of hand knit socks, it’s hard to go back to wearing manufactured socks.
Prerequisites:
The knitter should have a good knowledge of knitting and purling and other knitting techniques including knitting in the round on DPN’s.
Class Supplies:
Class fees do not include the cost of materials, which must be purchased at Serenity Knits.
Student discount:
You will receive a 10% student discount on all class supplies purchased during the class session. You may also use your student discount on any materials purchased, whether for a class or not, during your class. Student discount does not apply to non-class materials which are special orders.
